SLS MEMBERS ONLY – Rescue Water Craft Operator Certificate
Introduction:
The purpose of this course is to help you develop skills and knowledge to safely and effectively drive a Rescue Water Craft (RWC)
Requirements:
Emergency Operations Group
Be at least 17 years or older at commencement of training
Be at least 18 years or older at date of assessment
Bronze proficient and hold Certficate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue)
Hold valid Provide First Aid certificate
Hold Advance Resuscitation Techniques award
Have a valid WWCC
Hold current SA Boat Licence recorded on surf guard.
Be willing to undertake Silver Medallion Aquatic Rescue
Be at least 17 years or older at commencement of training
Be at least 18 years or older at date of assessment
