The Community Bronze Medallion is a flexible course that is offered by Surf Life Saving NT to members of the Community. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge of basic surf awareness and rescue skills,

The aim of the Advance Resuscitation Techniques (ART) course is to develop skills and knowledge to manage life-threatening external bleeding‚ use oxygen, airway management devices and automated external defibrillators during resuscitation, and to administer oxygen to conscious or unconscious victims.

The Bronze Medallion / Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) (PUA20119) course provides participants with the skills and knowledge of basic surf awareness in order to be able to participate in lifesaving operations. The course covers all aspects of Lifesaving including rescues‚ the provision of first aid‚ spinal management‚ radio communication and beach management.
This is a core award to be a surf lifesaver in Australia. It is also a suitable award to equip teachers to supervise students around water.
