This course provides candidates with the skills and knowledge to safely contribute to the water treatment and plant operations of a pool or aquatic facility. This course will focus on conducting pool water tests‚ record keeping, minor maintenance of plant / equipment, systems and procedures for the maintenance of quality pool water in an aquatic recreation facility.
Introduction:
This course is the industry standard for pool supervisors.
Target Audience:
It is recommended that participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Learning Outcomes:
- SISCAQU001 Test pool water quality
- SISCAQU003 Maintain aquatic facility plan and equipment
- SISCAQU004 Develop and implement pool water maintenance procedures
Learning Methods:
Two (2) day face to face learning will consist of visual information and practical demonstrations and assessments
